Texas universities support Cornyn bill for high-tech immigrant visas

Sen. John Cornyn said he filed the STAR Act to bolster U.S. economic competitiveness. The bill would allocate up to 55,000 immigrant visas to foreign students who graduate from U.S. universities and have job offers in related fields.
